Hadjienova house

The house was built in the middle of the 19th century by Trevno craftsmen. Architecturally it belongs to the town type houses. The first level consists of two working rooms and a cellar. The second floor has a large open porch with a köshk around which are the three rooms - kitchen with pantry, bedroom and living room. The furniture bears the marks of the wealthy Bulgarian family of the end of the last century. Imported furniture and fabrics are reconciled with local craftsmanship and show Kazanlak's extensive contacts with the world. This home belonged to moderately wealthy rose-growers of the time. For this reason, a primitive guelpanata is exposed in the bottom of the courtyard.
