The memorial plaques with the names of those who died for the Motherland from the Hadzhi Dimitar's troops - 1868 - 1876 and the Liberation War 1877 - 1878 are placed in the Nativity of Christ Monastery, known as Shipka Monastery. The names of the heroes are carved into the marble in gilded letters.
