Monument to the war victims

The monument in the village of Gorno Cherkovishte was built in the southern part of the garden in front of the community centre and consists of black marble slabs on a granite stone pedestal. The monument was restored with the assistance of IMRO Kazanlak with leader Chavdar Angelov, preserving its old construction. The monument obelisk is erected on a two-tiered base. its four sides are treated uniformly. A granite cornice horizontally separates the pedestal from the obelisk. The obelisk is crowned with a granite cross. On all four sides of the obelisk and the prism are black marble slabs with the names of the fallen heroes.
